FIRE ISLAND RETREAT

Rise Projects recently completed a renovation and addition to this 2,000 square foot beach house in Fire Island. The owner’s father built the original ‘kit’ house in the 1970’s and it was essential that Rise maintain the sensibility of simple living and connection with the outdoors that her father had captured. The interiors were thoroughly updated with new finishes, fixtures, and a more generous layout. Outdoor spaces were added at all levels including a rooftop balcony that offers expansive views of the water and island.
