RISE PROJECT BEGINS design STUDY OF GEORGE JACKSON ACADEMY
September 22, 2017, New York, NY- Rise Projects is excited to announce a new project with The George Jackson Academy, a private school that supports 131 young men from grades 4-8 with research-driven programs specifically tailored to boys’ learning interest and future success and located on Saint Mark’s place in New York City. Rise Projects is currently preparing study of the aesthetics and infrastructure to improve existing Saint Mark’s Place facility as a place for learning. Construction is anticipated for summer 2018. Andrea Yang is a Junior Architect at Rise Projects where she is works on a variety of suburban residential projects and commercial interiors. Andrea received her bachelor of architecture degree from Fengchia University. Andrea interned in C+A Tokyo the Summer of 2013 where she had extensive experience with detailed physical modeling, educational projects and collaborated with furniture design. Before joining Rise Projects, Andrea was a junior designer at an architectural/interior design firm in NYC where she was intensively involved in the high-end residential interior design, two showhouses and FF&E research.
Andrea is originally from Taiwan. She moved to New York after receiving her bachelor degree in 2015. She enjoys travel, photography and loves live house, techno and disco music.

RISE PROJECTS GROWS IN 2017
WE ARE PLEASED TO WELCOME PATRAILLIA DAVIS AND NICOLAS SCHMIDT TO OUR TEAM
Nicolas Schmidt is a Junior Architect at Rise Projects where he will work on a variety of commercial interior and suburban residential projects. Nicolas is originally from St. Louis Missouri, and is a proud alumnus of Metro High School and the Princeton University School of Architecture. As a student Nicolas pursued a broad education majoring in architecture and minoring in both computer science and sculpture. He also has studied Mandarin Chinese both at Princeton and at the Beijing Normal University (北京师范大学). Previously Nicolas has worked in high end custom metal fabrication, both as a fabricator and as a drafter, and strives to streamline the relationship between architects and contractors using shared building information models.
Patraillia Davis serves as a Marketing & Office Manager where she oversees and manages all office operations of Rise Projects. Patraillia specializes in marketing and business development solutions, helping support various projects. She is interested in architecture, art history and enjoys fitness. Patraillia is originally from Miami, Florida.

Opening Reception: 2016 Residential Review
Tuesday, June 14, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
The second annual Residential Review, organized by AIANY Interiors Committee showcases the best work in residential interiors projects by New York City architects. Ten winners were selected and their work will be on display in the gallery space GD Cucine from June 14 - July 2.
The showcase, consisting of large-format posters, will be on display on a large street frontage in Chelsea, New York. GD Cucine at 227 West 17th Street is generously providing the street-front window display space.
